A Few New Links and One New Blog
Well, a few new links from our own area that focus on food and/or food-related matters:
Calico's Ailurodrome and Alehouse is a site which features a Rochester woman, librarian, cat fancier who blogs about craft beer and home brewing -- and all sorts of other things.
Jaimie and Leah Supported Agriculture -- I have even met one of these bloggers and they certainly have strong media production values. Keep an eye out for more video blogging and podcasts. Ithaca area -- and community supported agriculture focused. Recipes flag which ingredients are locally grown or produced.
Live, Love, Eat, Bake is a site, also from the Rochester area. A bit chatty -- but worth an occasional visit.
Eat Out Rochester is just that: a blog that focuses on eating out in Rochester! Not terribly lively, but they are looking for input! Maybe you have some for them.
freshcrackedpepper is a site which seems to be local (so I put it there in typelist!) but wow -- it is really well written, and has a reflective tone I really like.
Allens Hill Farm now has a blog! Yes, the same Allens Hill that did an interview here at Cooking with Ideas and which produced the Chocolate Chip Cookie mix I recently made! And which I review here on April 30.
Also, check out the comments on my recent entry on Finger Lakes links to find a few more! Thanks to everyone who commented.
Hi there, thanks for mentioning me, and also for the compliments. And yes, I am local, a temporary Syracusean at least. Cheers to local eats and great food!
