Once in a while, you need a burger. And I had one a while ago at a place called Duke's Riverside Bar and Grille. Yes, I sat outside, on the deck, by the river and ate. . . a burger. It was supposed to be a blue cheese bacon burger but instead was a blue cheese burger. And, it was very very up to par. It actually tasted like burger. The blue cheese was actually blue cheese and not blue cheese mixed with mayo or some other odd concoctions other places try to foist off on someone who orders a blue cheese burger. The Susquehanna did its thing nearby. The sun shone (though I admit to being a bit chilly in the shade on the deck). Hurrah.
Where is the best burger in Harrisburg? In the world? You tell us. Or, you could try the one at Duke'e Riverside which, while not the world's best, was satisfying. For more reviews of Duke's and more info, click here. Or check it out at urban spoon:
Here's the address:
313 South Front Street
Wormleysburg, PA (Ok, I admit it. Sometimes this is the little town listed; and sometimes LeMoyne. Anyone have a clue what that means?)
