You may know that Hobart and William Smith Colleges does all sorts of events open to the public. This year's Fisher Center series, for example, focuses on food; click here for information.There will be a public screening of a film with a panel with local farmers and related folks on November 16, 2011.
And, this week, on November 1, there is a President's Forum, which is another series. This week's talk also focuses on food-related concerns. Ellen Gustafson, founder and executive director of the 30 project, will be on campus to deliver a talk titled, “A New Understanding of Hunger, Obesity and the Food System” at 7:30pm in the Geneva Room of the Melly Academic Center.
