A Sad Poem

A friend sent me this link, to a "sad poem" by Kim Addonizio entitled "Eating Together" from her book What Is This Thing Called Love.  It raises issues that we all have faced -- friends with cancer or other threatening illnesses -- and the ways that eating and loss are woven together in memory, in life, and in love.
