It has been months since I blogged here, though I think of it often. Part of the reason is I am blogging elsewhere and so have less time to put in here, and part is because I am . . . . lazy? Or?
In any case, I have a few blogs I am going to write for here, so if you are -- or used to be a regular -- and have nearly given up on me, don't! I will be writing about:
1. A cookbook mystery -- yes, a mystery that is about both books (and book mending) and cooking! Hurrah. As often is the case, the book (ok, in this case sent via kindle) was a gift from . . . .
2. I also am going to review a book I am really enjoying called Blue Plate Special by Kate Christensen. It was sent along to me by the book's publicist, and I have to admit I am reading it like I sometimes eat potatos chips -- too quickly.
3. I may review a few restaurants in Chicago where I have become a "regular" -- whether the restaurants themselves know that or not.
Meanwhile, though, I am trying to drive traffic to a few other places, so if you have a moment, stop here at Evocations or here at Chicago is Our Campus. Both feature the voice of Shimerprez.
