Have you read Fried Walleye and Cherry Pie? I have -- it was a gift and I truly enjoyed the ways that the reading brought me to the midwest. I have been living and working herwe for some time - and loved seeing things in the book I have actually encountered! More on that. . . one of these days -- in a review!
Have you been reading murder mysteries this December? I received Billionaire Blend recently as a gift from the author (aka Cleo Coyle) and truly enjoyed the read. I will be sharing some reflections on that book soon!
I have not been to Ottawa in some time, where my partner in crime nudges me toward magazines. But: I found a magazine called Lucky Peach in the grocery store. Perhaps you know it? I did not. And it is definitely food focused!
I have also been cooking -- and so may offer some reflections on the kitchen. For example: a version of Rick Bayless's black bean soup. And, a portuguese fish recipe we had for. . . Christmas dinner!
Finally, there is always the chance I will offer some reflections on dining out.
