It has been ages. Once upon a time, I got over extended in other parts of my life. I was still eating at restaurants, fermenting and canning and freezing, cooking, reading cozy mysteries involving food (and even a few more serious things about food!), and yet I was not writing here.
I am not sure why.
There was (is) a pandemic. And yet, I still ate and read and thought about blogging. But I did not blog - in part because it just seemed to take too much to fix a few things. Last summer I thought about moving from the typepad platform. And some time before that I thought about (well before it I tried to sort another unrelated blog on higher ed). But, I was stalled.
What was routine and fun and easy became … too much.
And, time has been disrupted - I blame the pandemic - who knows how long it has really been.
So, this is an announcement that despite it all these small lovely things still matter. I can try.
And blogging has resumed.
